GoRoute: GPS Maps & Navigation ("GoRoute", "we", "us", or "our") provides mapping, route planning, GPS navigation, and related location-based features. This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled in connection with the GoRoute mobile application and related support services.

Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed when you install, access, or use GoRoute, contact us for support, or otherwise interact with services that link to this Privacy Policy.
It does not automatically apply to third-party websites, map providers, app stores, payment processors, or services that have their own privacy policies.
Information we may handle
The information processed by GoRoute depends on the features you use, the permissions you grant, your device, and the services integrated into the app.
3.1 Information you provide directly
If you contact us, submit feedback, request support, or use a feature that requires account or contact information, we may receive information such as your email address and the content of your communication.
3.2 Information collected automatically
Depending on the app configuration and services used, technical information may be generated automatically, such as app version, device type, operating system version, language, time zone, IP address, crash data, diagnostics, and general feature-usage information.
3.3 Aggregated or de-identified information
We may use information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it does not reasonably identify you. Such information may be used to understand app performance, improve features, and support service reliability.
Location data and navigation permissions
GoRoute is a navigation application and may need access to your device location to provide maps, show your current position, calculate routes, estimate travel time, provide turn-by-turn navigation, and support other location-based features.
Depending on the features you use, location may be processed while the app is in use and, only where a feature requires it and you have granted the relevant device permission, in the background.
You can control location permissions through your device settings. Disabling location access may prevent some navigation features from working correctly.
Search terms, destinations, route points, saved places, and similar map-related information may be processed to provide the feature you request. Whether this information is stored, transmitted, or retained depends on the specific feature and service configuration used by GoRoute.
How we use information
We may process information for purposes such as:
- providing maps, GPS positioning, route calculation, and navigation;
- displaying relevant route details, distance, and estimated travel time;
- remembering preferences and app settings;
- maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving app performance;
- detecting abuse, fraud, security incidents, or technical problems;

- understanding how features are used through aggregated or analytics information where applicable;

No internet transmission, mobile application, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should also protect your device, account credentials where applicable, and access to your device.

GoRoute and its service providers may operate in different countries. As a result, information may be processed outside the country where you live. Where required by applicable law, we take steps intended to provide appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent.
You can also control certain data directly through your device:
- manage location permissions in iOS or Android settings;
- disable background location access where available;
- manage notification permissions;
- reset or limit certain device-level advertising or analytics settings where supported;
- uninstall the app to stop future app-based collection from that device.

Children's privacy
GoRoute is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate authorization, please contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.

GoRoute may use or link to third-party mapping, location, app-store, website, cloud, analytics, or other services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review those policies when using third-party services.
If GoRoute includes advertising, analytics, payment, map, routing, or other third-party SDKs, their data practices should also be reflected in this Privacy Policy and in the privacy disclosures submitted to the applicable app store.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or our information practices. When we update it, we will revise the "Last updated" date shown at the top of this page.
